2023 Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup | Teams, Schedule, Points Table & Results

The 2023 Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup is a major international event. It brings together the finest under-21 field hockey players from across the globe. Moreover, the greatest field hockey players in the future use to go through such events earlier in their career.

2nd Quarter Final > India beat Netherlands in a see-saw encounter by 4-3 & qualified for the Semi Final; Netherlands to play for 5th to 8th Position now.

1st Quarter Final > Germany beat Argentine by 2-1 in a close encounter & qualified for Semi Final. Germany will face India & Argentine to play for the 5th to 8th Position.

3rd Quarter Final > France vs Australia ends up with the final score of 3-2, and they France will face Spain in the 2nd Semi Final, whereas, Australia will play against Pakistan in 5th to 8th Position game.

4th Quarter Final > Spain beat Pakistan by 4-2 in a thriller & qualifies for Semi Final against France.

Like every time, International Hockey Federation (FIH) is the host of this tournament after every two years. This time around, it’s happening in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 5th to 16th.

The National Hockey Stadium Bukit Jalil is hosting the intense battles of the 16 top teams from around the globe. From December 5th to 16th, 2023, these teams are fiercely competing for the highly sought-after championship title in this thrilling event.

The teams are divided into four groups for the tournament. Malaysia joins Group A alongside Argentina, Australia, and Chile. Group B consists of Germany, France, South Africa, and Egypt. Meanwhile, India, Spain, Korea, and Canada form Group C, and the Netherlands, Belgium, Pakistan, and New Zealand make up Group D.

These pools were determined using the initial FIH Junior World Rankings as a guideline.
