Like every time, International Hockey Federation (FIH) is the host of this tournament after every two years. This time around, it’s happening in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 5th to 16th.
Teams & Playing Nations in Hockey World Cup
The National Hockey Stadium Bukit Jalil is hosting the intense battles of the 16 top teams from around the globe. From December 5th to 16th, 2023, these teams are fiercely competing for the highly sought-after championship title in this thrilling event.
The teams are divided into four groups for the tournament. Malaysia joins Group A alongside Argentina, Australia, and Chile. Group B consists of Germany, France, South Africa, and Egypt. Meanwhile, India, Spain, Korea, and Canada form Group C, and the Netherlands, Belgium, Pakistan, and New Zealand make up Group D.
These pools were determined using the initial FIH Junior World Rankings as a guideline.
